The 1st clip for Tom’s upcoming film, ‘I Saw The Light’, has just been released! Tom posted it on his official Twitter account, with a reminder that the film premieres tomorrow during the Toronto International Film Festival.

Tom joins Global Goals Campaign “We The People”

Today, the Global Goals Campaign launches “We the People” – a crowdsourced film where everyone is invited to join the world’s biggest cast and star alongside some of the world’s biggest names. The film will be unveiled on the Google homepage when the Global Goals are adopted on the 25th September. According to Times of Oman, Tom has contributed with footage for the campaign, along with many familiar faces from Hollywood.

From India, A R Rahman, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan have already contributed and crowdsourced footage for We the People.

Written and directed by filmmaker Richard Curtis (Notting Hill, Four Weddings and Funeral, Love Actually) and Mat Whitecross (Spike Island, Road to Guantanamo) and created by The Rumpus Room, people around the world have the chance to co-star alongside some of the world’s most famous people to help ‘Tell Everyone’ about the Global Goals by adding their voice to the film.

From today, people can upload their footage of reading their lines from the script written by Richard Curtis, outlining the ambition and themes of the goals at wethepeople.globalgoals.org. Entries will be edited together into a final crowd-sourced video using footage submitted by people all over the world.

‘I Saw the Light’ to close Vancouver Film Festival

Tom’s ‘I Saw The Light’ is premiering during the 34th Vancouver Film Festival! Saoirse Ronan‘s ‘Brooklyn’ is set to open the festival, while ‘I Saw The Light’ closes it. The event runs from September 24 to October 9.

John Crowley’s Brooklyn, which stars Saoirse Ronan and Star Wars: The Force Awakens actor Domhnall Gleeson, is to open the Vancouver Film Festival, organizers said on Tuesday. Fox Searchlight Pictures paid $9 million at Sundance for the distribution rights to Brooklyn, the romantic drama based on Colm Toibin’s novel of the same name and adapted for the big screen by Nick Hornby.

The west coast Canadian festival, to run from Sept. 24 to Oct. 9, will close with Sony Pictures Classics’ I Saw the Light, the story of the legendary country music singer Hank Williams by writer-director Marc Abraham and starring Tom Hiddleston.

Promotional stills from ‘High-Rise’ & ‘I Saw The Light’

Our gallery has been updated with two promotional stills from the films ‘High-Rise’ & ‘I Saw The Light’ that came out this week. The 1st one is set to premiere on October 9 and 11 at the Odeon, Leicester Square, as part of the 59th BFI London Film Festival, while the 2nd will be premiering at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival, which runs from September 10 to 20 – no exact date has been released yet.

On October 16th critically acclaimed and award-winning director Guillermo del Toro returns to his Gothic roots in the upcoming thriller Crimson Peak. But a few days before, on October 13th, Crimson Peak: The Art of Darkness arrives from Insight Editions to immerse readers into the world del Toro created for the film. The book features extensive interviews with the director, artists, and key actors. It’s written by Mark Salisbury with a foreword by Guillermo del Toro.
