Tom releases first poster for ‘I Saw The Light’

Tom has just released the first poster for his upcoming movie, ‘I Saw The Light’, via his official twitter account. We have updated the image to our photo gallery!

The story of the country-western singer Hank Williams, who in his brief life created one of the greatest bodies of work in American music. The film chronicles his rise to fame and its tragic effect on his health and personal life.

With Tom Hiddleston, Elizabeth Olsen, David Krumholtz, Cherry Jones, Bradley Whitford, Maddie Hasson, Wrenn Schmidt and more. Written and directed by Marc Abraham.

‘I Saw The Light’ is set to premiere on March 25, 2016.

The first trailer for ‘I Saw The Light’, has been released! The film tells the story of singer and songwriter Hank Williams, played by Tom, who rose to fame in the 1940s. Actress Elizabeth Olsen plays Williams’ wife, Audrey Mae Williams. The premiere is set for March 2016.

In a recent interview for The Wrap, Tom talked about his experience working on ‘I Saw The Light’. When asked about his favorite Hank Williams song, he said it was probably ‘I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry‘, and explained ‘Maybe because it was one of the first ones I learnt, and I thought the poetry in it was incredibly simple.’ You can watch him sing a few verses of the song below.
