I finally got around to adding photos of Tom in Guinea that he’s been posting at his blog. As most of you are already well aware, Tom went on his first trip with UNICEF UK to Guinea in West Africa where he’s meeting with Guinean children, families and communities. He’ll also be visiting several UNICEF projects, and finding out about our work in child protection, education, and water and sanitation. You can view the photos below and I’ve included links to his field dairies at the bottom of the post :]

Hiddleston is adamant Hollywood needs a regular induction of fresh talent and he is hoping the unique contest will unearth the stars of the future.

It’s very important for everyone to have a voice and film is like every art form, it’s about the authenticity of individual voices…
“It’s quite thrilling when you see first time work, whether its a 60-second type film that’s an homage or a pastiche or something more. It could be hilarious and funny and stupid or it could be weighty and deep or somehow ethereal. I just think there’s room for everybody and I’m excited by seeing it… if you’ve literally got one minute to put your stamp on something, in a way, the constraint of it sharpens your instinct.”
