A new image of Tom as Hank Williams in the upcoming film “I Saw The Light’ was released a couple of weeks ago, and we have added it to our photo gallery.
Tom Hiddleston stars as Williams, and Elizabeth Olsen plays his wife, Audrey. To play the troubled singer, Hiddleston honed his singing and guitar skills with Grammy winner Rodney Crowell, even moving into Crowell’s house outside Nashville to practice all day, every day. The result? “Every note, every line, everything is Tom,” Abraham says. “He’s crazy talented. If you didn’t like him, you’d be jealous of him.”
Hello everyone! Those of you who follow our Twitter account (@tomh_online) may have read about our recent hosting change, but for those of you who don’t: Our previous hosting company, Fan-Sites.Org, terminated its services last week without any previous notice, forcing us to find another home for our website. We have now moved to Flaunt Network, but our previous URL is gone and we’ll have no access to it for the time being. That’s why, from now on, this site will only be accessible through the address TOM-HIDDLESTON.COM. If you have us credited anywhere, please switch the links.
I have done my best to update the URLs on our posts and pages, but please let me know if you find any broken links so I can fix them. Our Twitter account will remain the same, and e-mail is still email@example.com. My apologies for any downtime you might have experienced and thank you for staying with us!

A little less than 24 hours ago, Nathan Fillion posted video of himself taking the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and he nominated Tom to do the same. Tom accepted the challenge, of course, and uploaded a glorious video of himself getting soaked with ice cold water to his official WhoSay account. He then nominated Benedict Cumberbatch and Luke Evans for the challenge, too. Watch it below:
According to The Seattle Times, Tom has signed to play country music legend Hank Williams in the biopic “I Saw the Light”.
We all know that Tom Hiddleston can do no wrong: he’s mastered the action-movie bad-guy thing (“The Avengers,” “Thor”), the period-drama thing (“The Deep Blue Sea”), the vampire thing (“Only Lovers Left Alive”), the literary-movie character thing (“Midnight in Paris”), and numerous other roles; plus, he’s pretty cute with little kids. But he’s found a new challenge: He’s signed to play country music legend Hank Williams in the biopic “I Saw the Light” (based on the Williams biography by Colin Escott), and word is that he will do his own singing, warbling Williams hits like “Your Cheatin’ Heart,” “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry,” and “Hey Good Lookin.’” Williams, born in 1933, found stardom early but his career was brief; troubled by health issues and substance abuse, he died in 1953, aged just 29. The film, to be directed by Marc Abraham (“Flash of Genius”), will begin shooting in Louisiana this fall.
